Agreement to these terms

These Terms of Use and Sale form an agreement between you and Shaun Scholtz, creator of Design Leadership OS. By using this website or purchasing the product, you agree to these terms and acknowledge the Privacy Policy and Refund Policy.

You must have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement. If you purchase on behalf of a company or organisation, you confirm that you are authorised to accept these terms for it.

Product and delivery

Design Leadership OS is a digital Notion workspace template and associated setup guidance. It is intended to help design leaders organise recurring work involving people, direction, delivery and evidence. It is not software installed on your device and no physical product will be shipped.

A compatible Notion account and internet access are required. Notion is an independent service and may change its plans, product or availability.

Access is delivered through the checkout or fulfilment service shown during purchase, normally by providing a link or instructions to duplicate the template into your Notion workspace. Use the private support channel included with your purchase confirmation if access does not arrive or the duplication link does not work.

Your licence

After successful payment, you receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to:

• duplicate and use the template in your own Notion workspace;
• adapt its structure and content for your own professional work; and
• share the working system with colleagues inside the organisation or team you lead where needed for that work.

You may not resell, sublicense, publish, distribute, give away or make the template or a substantially similar derivative available as a standalone product or resource. You may not remove attribution from materials where attribution is expressly included, represent the original product as your own, or use it to create a competing template for distribution.

All intellectual property rights not expressly granted remain with Shaun Scholtz. Notion and other third-party names and marks belong to their respective owners.

Price, currency and payment

The landing page currently advertises a one-time price of US$29. The final checkout shows the amount charged, applicable taxes and supported payment methods before you confirm the transaction. There is no recurring subscription unless a checkout page expressly states otherwise before purchase.

Payments are handled by an independent checkout and payment provider. Their additional terms may apply to payment processing. You are responsible for accurate billing information and any currency conversion or bank charges imposed by your own financial institution.

Refunds

Because the product is digital and can be duplicated immediately, change-of-mind refunds are not normally offered after access has been provided. Refunds remain available for qualifying access, duplicate-purchase and material-description issues described in the Refund Policy. Nothing in these terms limits a mandatory consumer right that cannot legally be excluded.

Your information and workplace responsibilities

You control what information is placed in your duplicated workspace. Do not enter confidential company information, employee information, personal information or sensitive material unless you are authorised to do so and your organisation permits its use in Notion and any connected AI service.

The included AI Prompt Pack is optional. Review and verify every AI-generated output, use only workplace-approved tools, and do not submit sensitive information to an unapproved AI service.

Disclaimers

Design Leadership OS is a general organisational resource, not legal, employment, privacy, financial, security or human-resources advice. It does not replace your organisation’s policies, professional judgement or required professional advice.

The product is provided on an “as available” basis. Although reasonable care is taken in its preparation, no particular leadership, business, performance or career outcome is promised. Compatibility with every Notion update, integration or third-party service cannot be guaranteed.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Shaun Scholtz will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss arising from use of the site or product, including lost profits, lost data, employment decisions or business interruption.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, total liability relating to a purchase will not exceed the amount you paid for that purchase. These limits do not apply where liability cannot legally be excluded or limited.

Changes, termination and governing law

The product, website and these terms may be updated from time to time. Changes apply prospectively from the effective date shown above and do not remove rights already required by law.

The licence may be terminated if you materially breach its restrictions. On termination for breach, you must stop distributing and using unauthorised copies.

These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario and the applicable federal laws of Canada, without limiting mandatory consumer protections that apply in your place of residence.
